Job summary

CHONGWU CONCEPT PTE. LTD. seeks an M&E Coordinator to coordinate electrical and mechanical works for interior construction projects, review drawings, and liaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors.

You will monitor site progress, ensure safety compliance, and manage schedules and handovers on-site in Singapore. The role requires 2+ years of local M&E coordination experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to resolve clashes and

• Experience coordinating M&E for A&A, fit-out, renovation projects.
• Familiar with testing & commissioning, inspections, and handover processes.
• Able to coordinate with multiple subcontractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E works with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project team to ensure smooth execution.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications and material submissions and resolve technical issues.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship and quality of M&E installations.
• Coordinate inspections, submissions, approvals and technical matters with authorities and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, regulations and safety standards.
• Plan and track M&E work schedules to meet timelines.
• Attend site and coordination meetings to resolve design and construction clashes.
• Verify subcontractors' progress, variation orders and related claims.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and handover.
• Prepare project records, reports and documentation.
• Provide updates to Project Manager and Project Director on progress and risks.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate M&E works with clients,consultants, subcontractors, and the project team to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications, andmaterial submissions, and resolve any technical issues or discrepancies.
• Monitor site progress, workmanship, andquality of M&E installations.
• Coordinate inspections, submissions,approvals, and technical matters with relevant authorities and consultants.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with projectrequirements, local regulations, and workplace safety standards.
• Plan and track M&E work schedules to meetproject timelines.
• Attend site and coordination meetings toresolve design and construction clashes.
• Verify subcontractors' work progress, variation orders and related claims.
• Assist in testing, commissioning,troubleshooting and project handover.
• Prepare and maintain project records, reports and documentation.
• Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Project Director on project progress, site issues, delays, risks and any matters requiring management attention.

Requirements:

• Experience in coordinating M&E works forA&A, fit-out, renovation and interior construction projects is preferred.
• Familiar with testing & commissioning,inspections, and project handover processes.
• Able to manage multiple subcontractors andcoordinate with various stakeholders effectively.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering, Building Services or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of Singapore-based experienceas M&E Coordinator in the construction industry.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in M&Ecoordination within the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of Singapore regulations andauthority requirements (BCA, PUB, EMA, SCDF, NEA).
• Strong understanding of M&E systems,including ACMV/HVAC, electrical, plumbing & sanitary, and fire protectionsystems.
• Able to read and coordinate M&E,architectural and structural drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; BIM/Revit knowledge isan advantage.
• Good coordination, communication, andproblem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multipletasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Willing to work on-site.

WorkingHours:

• 5.5-daywork week
• Mondayto Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday:9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
