Hexacon Construction Pte Ltd is seeking an M&E Manager to oversee the overall management of M&E works and design coordination for assigned projects from development through handover. You will ensure the M&E works are sound, compliant and delivered on time and within budget.

The M&E Manager is responsible for the overall management of M&E works and design coordination for assigned projects, from design development through construction, testing, commissioning and handover. The role ensures M&E works are technically sound, constructible, compliant and delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Lead the M&E team in engineering, coordination and site execution, providing direction, technical guidance and coaching to team members
Lead M&E and multidisciplinary design coordination, working with Architects, C&S and M&E Consultants, QPs, BIM teams, subcontractors and specialist contractors to identify and resolve design gaps, clashes and constructability issues
Manage design and technical submissions, including drawings, shop drawings, material submissions, RFIs/RFAs and CSD/BIM coordination, ensuring approvals and design information are available to support construction and procurement
Oversee M&E implementation and progress covering ACMV, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection, ELV and other building services, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, authority requirements and project milestones
Coordinate M&E interfaces and construction requirements, including structural openings, sleeves, risers, plant rooms, ceiling spaces, equipment access and existing services, while proactively resolving technical and site issues
Manage M&E subcontractors, vendors and specialist contractors, ensuring timely procurement, installation and completion of works, including long-lead equipment and outstanding technical matters
Lead stakeholder and authority coordination, including consultant, client and subcontractor meetings, authority submissions and inspections, testing and commissioning, TOP requirements and project handover
Manage M&E project controls, including program inputs, resources, costs, variations, progress claims, subcontractor accounts, EOT implications and handover documentation, with timely reporting of progress and risks to Project Management
Recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
Min 8 years or more of relevant M&E construction experience, preferably with a Main Contractor and major building projects ≥S$100M in value
