Job summary

ALLEVIATIVE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Site M&E Coordinator to oversee mechanical and electrical works on assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with drawings and requirements.

The role involves planning site activities, coordinating with clients, contractors and suppliers, and supervising installation, testing and commissioning. Strong reading of technical documents and proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office are preferred. Singapore-based opportunities.

Qualifications

• Able to read M&E drawings, specifications and technical documents.
• Basic knowledge of ACMV, electrical and building services coordination.
• Willing to attend night/weekend works when required; Singapore construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage M&E works for assigned projects from commencement to completion.
• Plan and coordinate site activities, manpower, materials and work schedules.

• Coordinate and arrange testing & commissioning, inspections and authority/client requirements.
• Monitor subcontractor works and ensure proper workmanship and installation.
• Conduct site inspections and follow up on defects, outstanding works and rectification.

About the role

Coordinate and manage M&E works for assigned projects from commencement to completion. Plan and coordinate site activities, manpower, materials and work schedules. Supervise and monitor M&E installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings and project requirements. Coordinate with clients, main contractors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on technical and site matters.

Key responsibilities

• Review M&E drawings, shop drawings, specifications and site requirements
• Identify site clashes, discrepancies and technical issues and coordinate for resolution
• Prepare and coordinate shop drawings, as-built drawings and technical submissions
• Attend site meetings, technical meetings, inspections and coordination meetings
• Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed according to the project schedule
• Coordinate material requirements, technical submissions, samples and deliveries
• Prepare and follow up on RFI, material submissions, inspection requests and related technical documents
• Coordinate and arrange testing & commissionning, inspections and authority/client requirements
• Monitor subcontractor works and ensure proper workmanship and installation
• Conduct site inspections and follow up on defects, outstanding works and rectification

About you

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or related discipline
• Able to read and understand M&E drawings, specifications and technical documents
• Basic knowledge of ACMV, electrical and building services coordination
• Familiar with M&E installation, testing & commissionning and site coordination
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and coordinate with site teams and subcontractors
• Responsible and able to follow projects through to completion
• Willing to attend night works / weekend works when required by project schedule
• Singapore construction industry experience will be an advantage
