Job summary

M&E ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. based in Singapore is hiring a site-oriented engineer to manage project execution and coordinate the site team. The role requires interpreting drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with local codes.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software and MS Office. A 5.5-day work week is typical for this position and building knowledge in Singapore standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3 years of working experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret project specifications/drawings.
• Knowledge of Singapore building codes and BCA Green Mark is advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM software and MS Office is expected.

Responsibilities

• Execution of projects on site.
• Attend site meetings.
• Organise, lead and arrange site team activities to meet project schedules.
• Prepare paperwork such as project schedules, RA/MOS for site execution.
• Participate in tender exercises, offer inputs, and assist with takeoffs/BQ as needed.
• Monthly assessment and preparation of progress claims for submission.
• Handle other ad hoc projects as assigned.
• You will typically work a 5.5-day work week.

Job Responsibilities:

• Execution of Projects

• Preparing paper works – e.g project schedule, RA / MOS etc for execution of site works

• Participate & organize tender exercise – to offer & input knowledge , at times when required also to assist & take off BQ.

• Monthly to assess & prepare progress claim for submission

• Other ad hoc projects assigned

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related discipline

• Min 3 years of working experience

• Able to read & interprete project specifications / drawings

• Knowledge / understanding of building code of practices in Singapore

• Knowledge / understanding of BCA greenmark requirements

• Knowledge of relevant service providers in Singapore market will be advantageous

• Well-versed in Autocad, BIM Software and Microsoft Office

• Fast on your feet and good under pressure

• Able to work independently

• 5.5 days work week
