Our client is a building and construction company delivering major infrastructure and building projects in Singapore. Their team is currently mobilising at SAF camps and they are looking for M&E engineers to join them at this exciting stage. They value safety, teamwork, and a willingness to learn, and we offer fresh and early-career engineers the chance to grow on a live, large-scale project with strong mentorship from experienced colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Site coordination: Coordinate M&E installation works on site (electrical, air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation, plumbing and sanitary, fire protection, and ELV), working with subcontractors and other trades to keep works on programme.
- Drawings and submissions: Review M&E drawings, prepare shop drawings and material submissions, and ensure installations follow approved drawings and specifications.
- Quality and inspection: Carry out site inspections, witness tests and commissioning, and track and close out defects and non-conformances.
- Safety compliance: Ensure M&E works comply with WSH requirements, including risk assessments, permit-to-work, and safe work procedures.
- Progress and records: Monitor progress, maintain site records and daily reports, and support material tracking and progress claims.
Key Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering (or related field).
- Fresh graduates and early-career engineers are welcome; 0 to 3 years of experience in construction or M&E works is a plus.
- Basic understanding of M&E systems, drawings, and Singapore codes and regulations (e.g. SS 638, SS 553, SCDF fire codes), or a strong willingness to learn them.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (or similar); familiarity with BIM is an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, a proactive attitude, and a strong commitment to safety. Willing to work on-site at the various camps.
