Job summary

Wide Wings in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with building services expertise to optimize design and energy performance. You will collaborate with a team to study, review, and improve system efficiency on active projects.

You will conduct thorough site surveys, plan and manage projects to meet client timelines and budgets. Knowledge of Green Mark Certification and submission procedures is advantageous, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.
• At least 5 years of working experience in related consultancy or building services.
• Self-driven, independent, and resourceful.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and work together with a team to study and optimize building services design and energy performance.
• Review and study the building services design and system efficiency and provide solutions to optimize design and energy reduction.
• Conduct thorough site surveys (able to climb to roof, scaffold, stairs) to understand design/provisions and performance, and analyze existing or improved solutions for feasibility.
• Overall project planning and management to meet client timeline and budget.
• Knowledge & experience in Green Mark Certification and submission procedures; advantageous.
• Assist in managing, planning and coordinating building services engineering works to meet time, cost and quality objectives.
• Any other duties as assigned by department head or supervisor-in-charge.

2. Review and study the building servicesdesign and system efficiency and able to provide the solution to optimize thedesign and energy reduction.
3. Conduct thorough site survey (able toclimb to roof, scaffold, stairs etc.) to understand the building servicesdesign/provisions and performance, able to analyse existing or improvedbuilding services solutions for operational feasibility.
4. Overall project planning and managementto meet client timeline and budget.
5. Knowledge & experience in Green MarkCertification and application, familiar with current relevant authorities’requirements and submission procedures will be advantageous.
6. Assist in managing, planning andcoordinating building services engineering works to meet time, cost and qualityobjectives.
7. Any other duties as and when assigned bythe department head or supervisor-in-charge.

JOB REQUIREMENT

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering orElectrical Engineering from recognised universities. Candidates with extensiveexperience will be considered.
2. At least 5 years of working experiencein the related consultancy firm and field in building services.
