Job summary

Kajima Overseas Asia (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled MEP drawing coordinator with BIM management experience to join our Singapore construction teams.

You will prepare and coordinate MEP drawings and CSD documentation, and lead shop drawing efforts using BIM tools. Responsibilities include liaising with internal teams, subcontractors and consultants to produce coordinated drawings, ensuring compliance with project specs, resolving clashes, performing modelling and ongoing data exchange

Qualifications

• Recognised degree or diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Construction or equivalent.
• Min 3 years' experience in drawing coordination and BIM management in Singapore construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Navisworks for MEP drawing and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare MEP drawings and coordinate CSD drawings, detailing, and documentation.
• Use BIM for shop drawing documentation.
• Check subcontractor system drawings and submissions before coordination/CSD.
• Liaise with internal project members, subcontractors, and consultants to issue coordinated drawings for approval/construction.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and requirements.
• Clarify and raise RFIs for discrepancies; coordinate with project teams.
• Resolve clashes or monitor resolutions; coordinate with project team.
• Modeling and shop drawings; finish in a timely manner.
• Present BIM-related outputs as required by project team.
• Maintain clash detection documentation.
• Manage coordination, data exchange, and BIM collaboration with stakeholders.

Job description

• Responsible for all preparation MEP drawings, coordination of CSD drawings, technical drawings/detailing and documentations.
• Use of BIM to do shop drawings documentations.
• Check subcontractor system drawings models and submissions prior to coordination/CSD.
• Liaise with internal project members, subcontractors and consultants to issue Coordinated drawings for approval/construction.
• Ensure all drawings are incompliant with project specifications & requirements.
• Clarify and raised RFI for any discrepancies. Coordinate/communicate with internal and external teams members & consultants.
• Ensure that clashes highlighted are resolved or concluded, if not continuous monitoring for resolutions to be provided by project team.
• Carry out modelling and shop drawings as instructed and finish in timely manner.
• Making presentation with BIM related software as required by project team.
• Perform and maintain proper documentation of clash detection report.
• Manage process of coordination, Exchange of data and collaboration of BIM with project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Recognised Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical / Construction /or equivalent.
• Min 3 years of experience at drawing coordination and BIM management in Singapore Construction Industry.
• Well versed in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM/Naviswork software in MEP. And able to efficiently use BIM to perform drawing works.
• Conversant in Singapore Construction Industry regulations.
