Job summary

PVH (Tommy Hilfiger/Calvin Klein) in Singapore is seeking an Electrical & Mechanical Engineer with BIM coordination experience to support MEP disciplines on construction projects. You will liaise with consultants, client and authorities, review shop drawings, manage documentation, and ensure works align with schedules and safety requirements.

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering or Building Services, with familiarity in BIM/VDC.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering/Building Services
• Specialist Diploma in M&E
• Coordination and BIM/VDC experience is advantageous
• 1–2 years in construction industry
• Strong communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Liaise with consultants, client and authorities on all MEP matters.
• Work with BIM team to get the model ready for construction.
• Cross check BIM model with contract drawings.
• Carry out drawing review and coordination among various disciplines within the purview of MEP incorporating into the civil / structural and architectural.
• Review of shop drawing / materials / MOS submitted by subcontractors.
• Assist MEP Engineer to manage the documentation and submittals.
• Review of contract documents and have clear understanding of scope of works.
• Review of subcontract documents and scope of works.
• To conduct pre-inspection with subcontractors prior to calling for RE/RTO inspections.
• Arrange and facilitate RE/RTO inspections.
• To ensure site works are carried out according to daily / weekly site coordination schedule.
• Monitoring of VOs and issue back charges in a timely manner.
• To attend sub-con meetings and technical meetings for MEP related matters
• Prepare the site for RI(M&E) and TOP inspections.
• In charge for MEP materials selection / presentation, sample board submission, conducting trade demos and shop drawings submission.
• Follow up for reviews comments from consultants / client.
• Take lead in as-built drawings and submission of O&M.
• Handing over to owners/authorities / MA/ etc.
• Assessment of sub-cons claims / progress report
• Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Immediate Supervisor/ Management.

Job Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering/ Building Service. Specialist Diploma in M&E
• Coordination and BIM/VDC will be an advantage
• Preferably with 1-2 years relevant experience in Construction Industries
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• An independent, also be able to work in team, can cope in a fast-paced environment, highly motivated and a good team player
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and use of BIM would be an advantage
