Job summary

Marina Bay Sands in Singapore is seeking a Tea Master to lead premium tea service for a high-end guest experience. You will assist the Head Tea Master, build relationships with VIP guests, and help drive revenue while managing tea costs.

The role requires at least 3 years of Tea Master experience in F&B, and fluency in English with Mandarin/Cantonese. A shift-based schedule, including weekends and public holidays, is expected, with strong grooming and budgeting skills essential for success.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Restaurant Management or extensive F&B experience.
• ITMA certification preferred.
• Three years of Tea Master experience in F&B, preferably with Michelin-starred or Black Pearl Diamond credentials.
• Well-groomed and able to represent Marina Bay Sands.
• Willing and able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Proficient in basic accounting and budgeting skills.
• Simple English communication and fluent Mandarin/Cantonese to liaise with guests.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Tea Master in delivering outstanding service.
• Develop relationships with high-value guests, hosts, and tea enthusiasts.
• Drive outlet revenue with cost discipline, focusing on tea cost management.
• Keep tea counters and equipment clean and organized.
• Attend daily line-ups and review day-to-day operations.
• Monitor grooming and attire to meet standards.
• Coordinate with floor service teams for consistent service.
• Replenish supplies and raise requisitions as needed.
• Upsell products and offerings to guests when appropriate.
• Prepare and inspect workstations and pantries for readiness.
• Ensure materials and equipment are service-ready.
• Perform daily checks for cleanliness and organization.
• Stay familiar with services and local attractions to answer guest questions.
• Observe guest reactions and coordinate with staff to ensure satisfaction.
• Update tea pairings in line with menu changes.
• Complete closing duties before signing out.
• Collect guest feedback to support service improvements.
