Job summary

Artyzen Singapore, a luxury lifestyle hotel in the heart of the city near Orchard Road, invites a dynamic sales leader to join its team and drive room and event sales. You will build relationships with corporate clients, manage MICE and catering sales, and lead a sales team to achieve revenue targets while leveraging technology.

Fluency in English and Mandarin is highly desirable, with a Bachelor's in Hospitality or related field and a proven ability to convert inquiries into bookings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Sales and Marketing with a proven track record.
• Knowledge in Corporate, CI & M and Catering sales, F&B knowledge, Event organization, and audio-visual equipment.
• Proficient in technology and software tools for Sales and Marketing.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage a sales team effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with customers and business partners.

Responsibilities

• Maximize business opportunities by selling the right room to the right customer at the right time and price.
• Achieve financial results through effective sales strategies and tactics.
• Sell and convert potential event leads for the hotel and see the event to fruition.
• Build strong relationships with customers and business partners.
• Identify and handle sales leads in an efficient manner.
• Represent the hotel and participate in domestic sales activities.
• Monitor and report on market trends and competition within own market segment.
• Prepare and update customer management reports and ensure timely follow-up.
• Actively distribute product information and raise awareness in relevant markets and business segments.
• Cross-sell products and services in accordance with corporate and divisional guidelines.
• Use various methods and means to grow client base.
• Contribute creatively to product and sales development.
• Assist in planning and coordinating sales activities, events, and promotions.
• Manage accounts and maintain up-to-date customer information electronically.
• Work as a team leader with minimal direct supervision.
• Demonstrate understanding of premium products and ability to overcome objections, especially related to price.
• Confidently sell premium rates.
• Possess basic computational abilities and a strong sense of business acumen.
• Have in-depth knowledge of the hotel and its facilities.
• Knowledgeable in Corporate, MICE and Catering sales.
• Understand the market and competitors within own market segment.
• Other ad-hoc assignments and projects as needed.
