Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a Principal / Senior / Executive, Appeals to review and respond to appeals arising from offences under the Road Traffic Act, Active Mobility Act and related Acts.

You will prepare comprehensive analyses and recommendations, handle general enquiries from the public and motorists, and assist in projects to streamline processes and improve team efficiency.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in any discipline.
• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant experience ideally in enforcement functions or customer service.
• Resourceful, self-motivated and ability to work independently and as a team.
• Able to exercise sound judgment with ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment.
• Good analytical, written and communication skills.
• Able to communicate well with the public and handle difficult customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

What you will be working on

You are responsible for reviewing and responding to appeals arising from offences committed under the Road Traffic Act, Active Mobility Act and other Acts under LTA’s administration and their subsidiary legislation. Depending on the circumstances of each case, you may be required to prepare a comprehensive report of your analysis and recommendation. You will also need to handle general enquiries made by members of public, motorists and or other agencies. In addition, you will assist in developmental projects to streamline work processes and enhance operational efficiency of the team.
