Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) in Singapore seeks a proactive Manager to shape ticketing policy within the Ticketing Strategy and Projects Division. You will lead a team, contribute to long-term ticketing strategies, and engage a broad range of stakeholders across the transit ecosystem.

Your responsibilities include reviewing ticketing costs, managing contracts with operators and service providers, analyzing data for insights, delivering projects to improve operations and payments, and

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in project management and/or policy.
• Able to conceptualise and operationalise policies.
• Strong communication skills and comfort presenting to management.
• Able to manage both internal and external stakeholders with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to review and monitor ticketing costs.
• Manage contracts with Public Transport Operators and ticketing service providers.
• Analyse transit ticketing data for insights to deliver a commuter-centric system.
• Implement projects to enhance operations and support new payment modes.

[What the role is]

This role sits within the Ticketing Strategy and Projects Division, where you will play an active part in shaping the ticketing services charging framework for transparency and cost effectiveness. You will contribute to the development of long-term ticketing policies and strategies, while engaging a broad range of stakeholders across the transit ecosystem.

[What you will be working on]

You will be leading a team to:

• review and monitor the ticketing costs of the transit ticketing system
• manage the contracts with Public Transport Operators and transit ticketing service providers for ticketing related matters
• analyse transit ticketing data for insights to deliver a commuter-centric and future ready ticketing system
• implement projects to enhance operation and services, and support new payment modes in transit
• prepare approval papers and agreements with transit service providers covering service level monitoring and service fees
