The Land Transport Authority in Singapore is seeking a Deputy/ Assistant Manager for Cross Border Rail Regulation. You will help develop and review bilateral regulatory requirements to ensure safe cross-border train services and monitor operator performance across cross-border and domestic rail networks.

You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, coordinate audits and safety verifications, and contribute to data-driven reliability analyses.

DEPUTY/ ASSISTANT MANAGER, CROSS BORDER RAIL REGULATION

The Cross Border Rail Regulation division is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security regulatory matters for cross border rail projects under the Cross-Border Railways Act, such as the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link. The division also supports the domestic rail lines.

What you will be working on

• Development and review of bilateral regulatory requirements to ensure safe and reliable cross-border train services
• Monitoring of rail operators’ performance in operating and maintaining rail networks, analysing regulatory reports, assessing the reliability of train services, safety verification, and the coordination and facilitation of rail incident investigation
• Support in rail reliability computation processes and data
• Verification of operators’ submissions, and performance of audits

• Good time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent writing, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office (i.e., Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
• Candidates with leadership skills and relevant working experience in rail systems would be an added advantage
