Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) invites applications for Deputy/Assistant Manager, Cross Border Rail Regulation. You will join the Cross Border Rail Regulation division overseeing safety and security regulatory matters for cross-border rail projects such as RTS Link and supporting domestic rail lines.

You will participate in developing regulatory requirements, monitoring operator performance, analyzing reports, conducting audits, and supporting data-driven reliability computations.

What the role is

DEPUTY/ ASSISTANT MANAGER, CROSS BORDER RAIL REGULATION

What you will be working on

The Cross Border Rail Regulation division is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security regulatory matters for cross border rail projects under the Cross-Border Railways Act, such as the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link. The division also supports the domestic rail lines.

As a key member of the dynamic team, you will be directly involved in the:

• Development and review of bilateral regulatory requirements to ensure safe and reliable cross-border train services;
• Monitoring of rail operators’ performance in operating and maintaining rail networks, analysing regulatory reports, assessing the reliability of train services, safety verification, and the coordination and facilitation of rail incident investigation; and
• Support in rail reliability computation processes and data;
• Verification of operators’ submissions, and performance of audits.
