Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore seeks a Deputy/Assistant Manager for Cross Border Rail Regulation. You will help regulate cross-border rail safety and security under the Cross-Border Railways Act, supporting RTS Link and domestic lines.

You will develop bilateral regulatory requirements, monitor operator performance, and assist in data-driven reliability analyses while coordinating audits and submissions across multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Engineering.
• Ability to engage and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent writing, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Candidates with leadership skills and relevant working experience in rail systems would be an added advantage.

DEPUTY/ ASSISTANT MANAGER, CROSS BORDER RAIL REGULATION

What you will be working on

The Cross Border Rail Regulation division is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security regulatory matters for cross border rail projects under the Cross-Border Railways Act, such as the Johor Bahru-Singapore Rapid Transit System (RTS) Link. The division also supports the domestic rail lines.

As a key member of the dynamic team, you will be directly involved in the:

• Development and review of bilateral regulatory requirements to ensure safe and reliable cross-border train services;
• Monitoring of rail operators’ performance in operating and maintaining rail networks, analysing regulatory reports, assessing the reliability of train services, safety verification, and the coordination and facilitation of rail incident investigation; and
• Support in rail reliability computation processes and data;
• Verification of operators’ submissions, and performance of audits.
