JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Perform transportation duties as deployed by the supervisor and carry out the duties diligently as instructed.
• Loading/Unloading, transporting, and delivering items to sites in a safe, timely manner.
• Liaise with the admin department for delivery order
• Responsible for daily routine checks and maintain the general cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines and effectively prioritize and executes tasks in a high‑pressure environment
• Assist in the management of the day to day operations and Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by company
• Comply with driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
• Liaise with Manager to arrange for regular maintenance and servicing of the delivery vehicle
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
• Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by Company
• Plan delivery route and check delivery order before leaving office

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Min 4 years of experience in related industry
• Class 3 Driving Licence compulsory. Company’s vehicle is not allowed to drive home
• Able to carry up to 30kg items
• Physically Fit. Able to withstand loading/unloading of bulky goods for extended period
• Capabilities of delivery route planning
• Ability to start work within short notice will be an added advantage
• Preferably with Fork Lift Licence. Assist with packaging and using forklift in warehouse as and when required or during free time.
• Willing to do rotating shift work, able to work longer hours (when required/necessary) and have the flexibility to work late evenings, holidays and weekends (strictly off day on weekdays)
• Ability to assess truck volume allotment to accurately cubic a truck.
• Knowledge of GPS equipment; knowledge of DOT regulations is preferred
• Required to work in hot and humid working environment
