Job summary

The GMP Group is seeking a Logistics Specialist in Tampines, Singapore, for Sept/Oct intake. You will manage import/export shipments, prepare documentation, and ensure compliance with Singapore customs and company procedures. Day/Night shifts with allowances are part of the role.

Requirements include a Diploma or Degree in Logistics or related field and 1–2 years in logistics, shipping, or import/export. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with SAP/ERP are advantages.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business or related discipline.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in logistics, import/export, shipping, customs or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Singapore Customs regulations, import/export procedures, and trade policies.
• Experience with import/export documentation and customs clearance.
• Familiar with freight forwarding and shipment coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP or ERP system knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive team player with willingness to learn.
• Semiconductor or manufacturing experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate import and export shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Prepare and process import/export documentation, customs declarations, permits and shipping documents.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Customs regulations, trade policies, export control requirements and company procedures.
• Support EAR (Export Administration Regulations) compliance and export control requirements.
• Handle and coordinate Singapore Customs permits, including Bulk Permit requirements where applicable.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, logistics providers, customs agents and internal stakeholders to resolve shipment-related issues.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, investigate delays and provide timely updates.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, procurement and planning teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare operational reports.
• Support inventory movement, shipment planning and continuous process improvement.

Working Time: 8:00am - 8:00pm (Day Shift) / 8:00pm - 8:00am (Night Shift)
