Job summary

The GMP Group is seeking a proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage import/export shipments and prepare shipping documents. You will liaise with freight forwarders, ensure regulatory compliance, and support inventory and reporting tasks within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in logistics, strong Excel and ERP knowledge, and excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in logistics, import/export, shipping, customs, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of import/export documentation, customs clearance, permits, and trade compliance.
• Familiarity with shipping procedures, freight forwarding, and logistics coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SAP or ERP system knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate import and export shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
• Prepare and process shipping documentation, customs declarations, permits, and related import/export documents.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade policies, and company procedures.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, logistics providers, customs agents, and internal stakeholders to resolve shipment-related issues.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, investigate delays, and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production, procurement, and planning teams to support smooth logistics operations.
• Maintain accurate logistics records and prepare weekly/monthly operational reports.
• Support inventory movement, shipment planning, and continuous process improvements.
• Perform other ad hoc logistics and supply chain duties as assigned.
