PASONA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Manager – Sales & Business Development (Logistics) to identify and win new customers in Singapore, focusing on industrial cargo and warehousing needs.

You will develop opportunities for company-owned warehouse services, coordinate with operations, and drive revenue through robust prospecting, proposals, and strategic partnerships with freight forwarders and logistics providers.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of logistics sales and business development experience.
• Experience handling electronic components, maintenance and service parts, or related industrial cargo.
• Knowledge of warehousing, freight forwarding, import/export procedures, customs clearance, and domestic transportation.
• Established network of customers and logistics partners in Singapore.
• Strong prospecting, relationship-building, proposal preparation, and commercial negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with internal operations teams and external partners.
• Results-oriented with strong commercial awareness.

Responsabilités

• Identify and acquire new customers in Singapore, with a focus on companies handling electronic components, maintenance and service parts, and related industrial cargo.
• Develop new business opportunities for the company-owned warehouse, including storage, inbound and outbound cargo handling, and associated logistics services.
• Secure import/export, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and domestic transportation business.
• Generate leads through industry contacts, business networks, referrals, and proactive outreach.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective customers, understand their logistics requirements, and propose suitable solutions.
• Prepare proposals and quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and convert opportunities into confirmed business.
• Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure proposed solutions are commercially viable and operationally feasible.
• Develop and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, transport providers, and other logistics partners to support customer requirements.
• Manage the sales pipeline, provide regular forecasts and progress updates, and achieve agreed sales and business development targets.
• Monitor market developments and customer demand to identify opportunities for warehouse utilisation and revenue growth.
