Job summary

Metro Builders Pte. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics & Procurement Executive to support lift and escalator interior projects. The role focuses on sourcing materials, coordinating procurement activities, and delivering timely supplies to project sites.

You will work closely with project, drafting, and site teams while managing supplier relations and documenting procurement processes. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related discipline.

• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in procurement, logistics, or construction is an advantage.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Source materials and obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor procurement schedules.
• Coordinate local and overseas deliveries to ensure timely arrival of materials.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers on shipments and customs clearance.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock of frequently used materials.
• Coordinate material deliveries with project managers and site supervisors.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve delivery issues promptly.
• Verify supplier invoices and delivery orders.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier databases.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Support project teams with material planning and procurement-related matters.
• Assist with other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
