Job summary

RMR INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our freight forwarding and logistics business by identifying new clients and building strategic partnerships. You will collaborate with operations to deliver seamless transport solutions and achieve revenue growth.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with a proven ability to manage key accounts and meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales (preferred).
• Experience in managing freight transport arrangement services is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business growth strategies for freight transport arrangement services (air, sea, and land freight).
• Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through market research, networking, and client meetings.
• Build strong relationships with shippers, consignees, brokers, agents, and logistics partners.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and service agreements to potential clients.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth coordination of shipments and timely delivery.
• Negotiate freight rates, service terms, and contract agreements with customers and vendors.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to recommend business improvements.
• Manage key accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the management.
• Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and forecasts for management review.
