Job summary

AF Global Logistics in Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented logistics coordinator to manage day-to-day operations, oversee shipments, and ensure smooth supply chain activities.

You will coordinate end-to-end movements by air, ocean, and land, handle documents, liaise with carriers, and provide proactive updates to clients and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, or related field.
• Experience in freight forwarding preferred.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance, and freight documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end shipments via air, ocean, and land.
• Prepare and review shipping documents (Bills of Lading, AWBs, invoices, packing lists, customs declarations).
• Negotiate with carriers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries and competitive rates.
• Provide updates to internal teams and clients on shipment status.

Key Responsibilities

• Shipment Coordination: Plan, track, and manage the end-to-end movement of goods via air, ocean, and land freight.
• Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and process essential shipping documents, including Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
• Vendor & Carrier Relations: Liaise and negotiate with shipping lines, airlines, transport vendors, and customs brokers to ensure timely deliveries and cost-effective rates.
• Customer Support: Provide regular status updates to internal teams and external clients, handling any shipment-related queries or discrepancies efficiently.

Job Requirements

• Education: Possession of a recognized bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Industry Preference: Prior experience working within freight forwarding is highly preferred.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs clearance procedures, and freight documentation. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to multitask and perform well under tight deadlines.
