Job summary

BEN LINE AGENCIES (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking an Operations Assistant to support the Integrated Logistics team in daily administrative and coordination tasks. You will help manage documentation, invoicing, and communications with ship spares suppliers, airports, vendors, and clients.

The role emphasizes accuracy in filing, stock records, and basic logistics activities such as forwarding, customs, and shipment planning.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Maritime, Supply Chain, or related fields.
1–2 years of experience in logistics or shipping, preferably administrative.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail in electronic filing and documentation.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

Assist in basic logistics operations including receiving and delivering ship spares.
Coordinate with airport agents, boat and transport operators, warehouse staff, clients, and vendors.
Maintain stock and inventory records of landed spares.
Prepare Bills of Lading, job Profit & Loss sheets, and billing summaries.
Apply for customs clearance permits and ensure compliance with procedures.
Handle domestic and international freight forwarding arrangements.
Plan transport solutions and supervise scheduled assignments.
Maintain electronic documents and keep SharePoint folders up to date.
Validate supplier invoices and assist with invoice processing.
Generate simple Excel-based reports on job and billing statuses.
