Job summary

Electronics MFG Co. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound/outbound shipments and coordinate freight forwarding for interplant orders. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and cost-conscious decision-making.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in logistics, with familiarity in 5S and health & safety practices, and solid computer basics to support daily operations. This is a full-time on-site position located in East Area, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understanding of 5S and health & safety concepts preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and quick decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping and freight forwarding activities for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders to arrange drop shipments for interplant orders.
• Coordinate and consolidate outbound shipments, selecting the best transport mode to maximize capacity and minimize costs.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and local transport providers to manage inbound shipments.
• Perform goods receiving and packing activities for outbound shipments.

• Coordinate and consolidate outbound shipments, determining the most appropriate mode of transportation for interplant orders while maximizing freight capacity in a cost-effective manner.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and local transportation providers to manage inbound shipments.
• Perform goods receiving and packing activities for outbound shipments.

Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge.
• Understanding of 5S and health & safety concepts is preferred.
• Good problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick and effective decisions.
