Job summary

SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a Logistics Executive – Import/Export & Trade Documentation to manage orders from purchase to delivery. Based at Cecil Street, you will coordinate with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely shipment execution.

The role requires 2–4 years in international trade, a diploma or degree in logistics or related field, and strong knowledge of Incoterms, trade finance terms and customs procedures.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of international trading, import/export, cross-trade, transshipment or shipping documentation.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping practices.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer and supplier orders from PO through final delivery.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, carriers and shipping lines to ensure timely shipment execution.
• Arrange sea, air and land shipments, including cross-trade and transshipment movements where required.
• Prepare and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, customs permits, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, insurance documents and Letter of Credit documentation.
• Track shipment progress and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure that trade documents comply with contractual, banking, customs and regulatory requirements.
• Follow up on document discrepancies, shipment delays and operational issues.
• Maintain complete and organised shipping and trade records.
