Job summary

Seatrium Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented logistics professional to manage warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, put-away, picking and issuing of materials. You will ensure accurate records, timely delivery to end-users, and effective stock control in a shipyard environment.

Applicants with a Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and analytical/problem-solving abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates with basic logistics/SCM knowledge and strong organizational skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• On-job training available for entry-level applicants.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, put-away, picking, and issuing.
• Resolve discrepancies on delivered equipment and materials on arrival.
• Ensure proper handling of records and reports for receiving, storage, movement and control of materials.
• Ensure on-time delivery of correct materials to the right end-user and location.
• Monitor stock levels daily and initiate re-order to prevent stockouts.
• Maintain preservation activities on equipment packages and manage scrap tenders.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Manages warehouse operation matters to ensure receiving, inspection, put away, picking, issuance & transportation are all in good order
• Resolves discrepancy found on delivered equipment & material upon receiving
• Ensures proper gathering and distribution of all records, forms and reports pertaining to the receiving, storage, movement and control of equipment/ materials
• Ensures on time delivery of correct material to the correct end user at the right place
• Monitors stock levels daily to prevent stock out and initiate re-order when required
• Monitors and carry out preservation activities on equipment packages
• Monitors and carry out scrap tenders

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply (On Job Training will be provided)
• Possess good planning, organising skills and able to work independently
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Having relevant experience, knowledge of shipyard operations and SAP will be an added advantage
