Job summary

KITA SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Customer Service Assistant/Executive to coordinate shipments end-to-end, from documentation and carrier negotiation to warehouse release and billing.

You will be the main point of contact for customers and will liaise with overseas agents, hauliers and internal departments to keep shipments moving smoothly. The successful candidate will have prior experience in customer service or shipping coordination, be proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets,

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service or shipping coordination.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of freight/logistics systems is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken communication.
• Organised with ability to manage multiple shipments.
• Team player in fast-paced SME logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documents such as Bills of Lading and permits.
• Liaise with customers on shipments and respond to inquiries.
• Check freight rates and negotiate with carriers.
• Coordinate shipments with overseas agents.
• Prepare job instructions for haulier and Transport Department.
• Update customer inventory records in the warehouse.
• Send tally sheets after shipments arrive and are unstuffed.
• Prepare Warehouse Release Orders for cargo release or pickup.
• Prepare invoices to bill customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
