Job summary

HS GROUP seeks a Logistics Coordinator (Chinese Speaking) in Singapore to support import/export operations in our regional supply chain. Based in Jurong East, you will handle permit declarations, cargo clearances, and carrier bookings, using Mandarin with China clients.

You will work with customs officials and freight forwarders to ensure timely clearances and accurate records. Requirements include at least 2 years in permit declaration and fluency in Mandarin and English.

Qualifications

• Familiar with import/export regulations and customs procedures.
• Knowledge of air/sea terminal clearance operations.

Responsibilities

About the role

As a Logistics Coordinator (Chinese Speaking) at HS GROUP, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth flow of goods and materials across our global supply chain. This full-time position is based in the Jurong East West Region, where you will leverage your language skills and logistics expertise to ensure efficient import and export operations.

Key responsibilities

• Import and Export Permit declarations and tracking of General Cargoes and eCommerce Goods that are importing into and exporting from Singapore
• Truck Dock booking inside SATS and DNATA and clearance of Air cargoes directly from Air Freight Terminal
• Liaise with customs officials, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely clearance and delivery of shipments
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all import and export activities
• Provide customer service support and communicate with China clients in Mandarin
• Ensure timely update of all inbound Flights and Sea Vessels arrival so that the operations team can efficiently clear all inbound Air and Sea shipments
• Support the logistics sales and operations team in achieving key performance metrics and objectives

About you

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Permit Declaration role
• Strong proficiency in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with import/export regulations and customs procedures
• Excellent knowledge of Air Terminal and Sea Terminal clearance operations
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of logistics software and computer applications
