EXPRESS (SINGAPORE) PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking Logistics Solutions Specialists to design, develop and implement end-to-end logistics and supply chain solutions for customers in Singapore and regional markets. You will analyse customer requirements, shipment profiles, and cost structures, translating them into practical and commercially viable solutions and working with Sales, Operations, Finance, Technology and our China HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Logistics, Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or related discipline.
• A relevant Master’s degree will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with exposure to logistics solution design or cost modelling.
• Fresh graduates may be considered for Specialist; Senior Specialist requires stronger capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customers’ business models, shipment profiles and service requirements.
• Design end-to-end logistics solutions including cross-border transport, warehousing and last mile.
• Conduct market, route and capacity research to support solution development.
• Develop cost models, assumptions and preliminary pricing.
• Prepare solution proposals, process maps and implementation plans.
• Support tenders and customer discussions with operational and analytical input.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Technology and regional teams.
• Monitor performance and costs, identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain solution documents and SOPs.

JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for Logistics Solutions Specialists / Senior Specialists to support the design, development and implementation of end-to-end logistics and supply chain solutions for customers in Singapore and regional markets.

The role involves analysing customer requirements, shipment profiles, operational processes and cost structures, and translating them into practical and commercially viable logistics solutions. The successful candidates will work closely with customers, Sales, Operations, Finance, Technology, our China headquarters and regional stakeholders throughout the solution development and implementation process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyse customers’ business models, shipment profiles, service requirements and operational challenges.
• Design end-to-end logistics solutions covering cross-border transportation, freight, warehousing, fulfilment and last-mile delivery.
• Conduct market, route, capacity and competitor research to support logistics product and solution development.
• Develop cost models, operational assumptions, resource plans and preliminary pricing recommendations.
• Prepare solution proposals, process maps, implementation plans, presentations and supporting documents.
• Support tenders, requests for proposals and customer discussions by providing operational, commercial and analytical input.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Technology, China headquarters and regional teams to assess solution feasibility and implementation requirements.
• Support the implementation, testing and operational handover of approved logistics solutions.
• Monitor service performance, operational costs and implementation risks, and recommend corrective or improvement measures.
• Identify process-improvement and technology-enabled opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Maintain accurate solution documents, costing assumptions, standard operating procedures and project records.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• A relevant Master’s degree will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with exposure to logistics solution design, cost modelling, market research, operational analysis or project implementation.
• Strong fresh graduates with relevant internships, academic projects or practical logistics experience may be considered for the Specialist level.
• Candidates considered for the Senior Specialist level should demonstrate stronger capabilities in independent solution development, project delivery and stakeholder management. The level offered will be determined based on the candidate’s overall experience and demonstrated competencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required. Experience with data-visualisation, process-mapping or project-management tools will be an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English is required for communication with local and regional stakeholders and for the preparation of business proposals and project documents.
• Business proficiency in spoken Mandarin and the ability to read Chinese business and operational materials are required, as the role involves frequent verbal communication with customers and headquarters-based stakeholders in Mainland China, as well as the review of operational documents maintained in Chinese.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder-management and project-coordination skills.
• Willingness to visit customer sites, warehouses and other operational facilities when required.
