Job summary

VisionPower Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an Import/Export and Logistics Specialist to manage end-to-end shipments, licensing, and documentation while ensuring compliance.

You will coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, accurate invoicing, and robust record-keeping. A proactive, improvement-minded professional is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or STEM.
• Minimum 3 years of import/export operations, shipping docs, logistics or procurement.
• Semiconductor industry procurement experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with local and international customs and trade regulations.
• Apply for and maintain all relevant import and export licenses and permits.
• Prepare, review, and manage shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and other required documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee shipping-related billing and payment processes, ensuring accurate invoicing and timely financial transactions.
• Maintain an organized document control system to ensure shipping and logistics records are accurate, up to date, accessible, and compliant with company policies and relevant standards.
• Coordinate shipping schedules and transportation arrangements with suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, and other service providers to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays, discrepancies, and other logistics issues by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, enhance operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement.

KeyRequirement

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or a STEM-related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in import and export operations, shipping documentation, logistics, and/or procurement.
• Experience in procurement processes within the semiconductor industry is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Power BI, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
