Job summary

BioBot Surgical Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Logistics Operations Specialist to manage international shipments across Singapore, Europe, Asia and the USA. You will coordinate with freight partners and internal teams to ensure timely, compliant deliveries.

You will bring 3–5 years in international logistics, strong Incoterms knowledge, and hands-on ATA Carnet experience. MedTech exposure is highly preferred, with attention to detail and global collaboration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or import/export ops.
• Strong knowledge of international freight, customs clearance, Incoterms, and shipping docs.
• Experience with freight forwarders, 3PLs, customs brokers, and distributors.
• Hands-on ATA Carnets and temporary import/export procedures.
• Healthcare/MedTech experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end import, export, and cross-border shipments, including time-sensitive deliveries.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, couriers, brokers and internal stakeholders for order fulfilment.
• Prepare and review shipping docs: invoices, packing lists, airway bills, origin certificates, ATA Carnets.
• Handle temporary imports/exports under ATA Carnet, tracking and closure.
• Ensure compliance with customs, trade and medical device regulations.
• Monitor shipments, resolve clearance issues, delays and discrepancies.
• Manage performance of logistics partners: costs, transit times, service levels, on-time delivery.
• Support returns, inventory transfers, and special shipment needs.
• Maintain audit-ready logistics records and SOPs.
• Assist audits and process improvements to cut costs and improve lead times.

Job description

Role Overview

The Logistics Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating international logistics and shipment activities, with a particular focus on shipments between Singapore, Europe, Asia and USA. The role requires strong operational execution, attention to detail, and experience working within MedTech or another highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end import, export, and cross-border shipments including urgent and time-sensitive deliveries.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, couriers, customs brokers, 3PLs, warehouses, distributors, and internal stakeholders to support smooth order fulfilment and product movements.

• Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, certificates of origin, and ATA Carnets.

• Manage temporary imports and exports under ATA Carnet, including documentation, customs presentation, tracking, re-export/re-import, and timely closure of Carnets.

• Ensure compliance with customs, import/export, trade compliance, and applicable medical device regulatory requirements.

• Proactively monitor shipments and resolve customs clearance issues, delays, documentation discrepancies, damaged shipments, and other logistics exceptions.

• Manage day-to-day performance of logistics partners and monitor freight costs, transit times, service levels, and on-time delivery.

• Support returns, replacements, inventory transfers, and special shipment requirements.

• Maintain accurate, traceable, and audit-ready logistics records.

• Support logistics SOPs, audits, process improvements, and initiatives to reduce costs and improve lead times and shipment visibility.

Education & Experience:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Trade, Business, or a related discipline. Equivalent professional qualifications or relevant industry certifications in logistics or supply chain will also be considered.

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, or import/export operations.

• Strong knowledge of international freight, customs clearance, Incoterms, shipping documentation, and import/export requirements.

• Experience working with freight forwarders, 3PLs, customs brokers, and regional distributors.

• Hands-on experience with ATA Carnets and temporary import/export procedures.

• Experience within MedTech, healthcare, or other regulated industry is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Letters of Credit (LC) and preparation of compliant shipping documentation is advantageous.

• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple and time-critical shipments.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills in an international environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365.
