Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD seeks a Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to oversee project logistics, material control, warehouse operations and supplier coordination in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sector.

You will coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Project Management and Construction teams to ensure timely, safe and efficient delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing logistics for semiconductor or high-tech projects.
• Strong coordination with procurement, engineering and construction teams.
• Proven ability to monitor schedules, shipments and inventory.

About the Role

Our client is an established company expanding its operations in the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing sector. They are looking for a Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to oversee project logistics, material control, warehouse operations and supplier coordination.

You will work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Project Management and Construction teams to ensure materials and equipment are delivered to project sites on time, safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage logistics activities for semiconductor and advanced manufacturing projects.
• Oversee material planning, transportation, warehousing and site deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers to monitor production and delivery schedules.
• Follow up on critical and long-lead materials and equipment.
• Coordinate local and international shipments by air, sea and land.
• Manage freight forwarders and customs clearance activities.
• Oversee warehouse operations, inventory and material control.
• Monitor material availability and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and monitor logistics and material status reports.
• Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Project and Construction teams to resolve logistics issues.
• Manage logistics service providers and suppliers.
• Monitor logistics performance, costs and KPIs.
• Lead and develop the logistics team.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
