Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to monitor, maintain, and optimize a broad range of systems and infrastructure for peak performance in Singapore. You will act as the single point of contact for customers, coordinate with internal teams, and resolve incidents within SLAs.

You will lead end-to-end incident, problem, and change management, and perform proactive maintenance.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in CS, Electronics, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
At least 3 years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience.
Strong working knowledge of RHEL and VMware environments.
Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management (ITIL).
Scripting proficiency in Bash and/or Python.
ITIL Foundation v3 Certification is a plus.
Unix/Linux and VMware Certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and optimize systems and infrastructure for peak performance and availability.
Act as the single point of contact for customers, coordinating with internal teams for fast resolutions within SLAs.
Lead incident and problem management end-to-end from alert to root cause and fix.
Manage change, configuration, and implementation tasks across supported systems.
Conduct proactive and preventive maintenance.
Work with senior engineers, manage local vendors, and support end-users during critical service cutovers.
Use scripting skills (Bash, Python, Perl) to streamline operations and reduce repetitive work.
