Job summary

GMP Technologies in Singapore East seeks an IT Systems Engineer to provide technical support and handle server administration across Windows, Linux, and Unix environments. You will manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, routers, switches, DNS, VPN, and firewalls, ensuring system reliability.

The role requires a diploma in engineering or related field with 3–4 years of hands-on server management, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and a willingness to participate in rotating standby duties.

Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3–4 years of hands-on server management experience.
Experience managing LAN/WAN, routers, switches, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to participate in scheduled standby duties on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support for ongoing maintenance projects.
Perform system administration, implementation, and troubleshooting for Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
Manage and support LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, DNS, VPN, and firewalls.
Ensure smooth operation of network and server systems through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
