Job summary

Koizumi Lighting Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Estimator/Tendering Coordinator to support project and tender activities. You will review requirements, prepare quotations, and evaluate costs and supplier data to help win diverse lighting projects.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or QS-related field with at least 3 years in costing, tendering, or QS, preferably in lighting or construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or QS-related discipline.
• At least 3 years in costing, estimating, tendering or QS in construction.
• Experience in lighting, electrical, M&E or building projects is an advantage.
• Good understanding of tender docs, drawings, specifications, BOQ and costing.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, DIALux, Photoshop or similar software is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of lighting is advantageous; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specs and scope of work.
• Prepare tender submissions and quotations.
• Carry out costing, quantity take-offs and cost comparisons.
• Review and analyse lighting products, suppliers, prices and tech data.
• Propose suitable products based on requirements, cost, availability and lead times.
• Prepare technical specs and product information for tenders and quotations.
• Liaise with suppliers on products, pricing, lead times and tech data.
• Coordinate with Sales, Lighting Design, Purchasing, Project and other teams.
• Assist with project coordination and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
