Job summary

Koizumi Lighting Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Estimator/Tendering Coordinator to support project and tender activities. You will review requirements, prepare quotations, and evaluate costs and supplier data to help win diverse lighting projects.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or QS-related field with at least 3 years in costing, tendering, or QS, preferably in lighting or construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or QS-related discipline.
• At least 3 years in costing, estimating, tendering or QS in construction.
• Experience in lighting, electrical, M&E or building projects is an advantage.
• Good understanding of tender docs, drawings, specifications, BOQ and costing.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, DIALux, Photoshop or similar software is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of lighting is advantageous; training provided.

• Coordinate with Sales, Lighting Design, Purchasing, Project and other teams.
• Assist with project coordination and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

In Singapore, KLS provides turnkey lighting solutions, from lighting design and product supply to installation and maintenance services. The role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, support our project and tender activities. The role involves reviewing project requirements, preparing quotations and tender submissions,evaluating products and supplier costs, and supporting project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Electronic /Electrical Engineering / Quantity Surveying (QS) or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience,preferably in costing, estimating, tendering quantity surveying, or the construction industry.
• Experience in lighting, electrical,M&E or building projects will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQ and costing.
• Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with suppliers, contractors and internal teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office,particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, DIALux,Photoshop or other relevant software will be an advantage.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• Knowledge of lighting will be an advantage.
• Product and on-the-job training will be provided.
