Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Licensed Electrical Worker to manage electrical inspections and lead teams in maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate must be EMA certified and hold a degree in Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience. This position offers the opportunity to oversee projects, ensure compliance, and improve M&E equipment uptime.

Qualifications

• EMA certified Licensed Electrical Worker Grade 8 (Technician).
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in conducting electrical installation checks.
• Immediate availability is advantageous.

Job Descriptions

• Perform monthly inspections on electrical tools and equipment to ensure they are safe for use as needed.
• Approve and update the single line diagram to meet site requirements and complete the Certificate of Fitness turn-on form.
• Prepare tenders and quotations for maintenance and project-related work.
• Engage in project planning, material requisition, cost management, project oversight, and documentation.
• Plan, prepare, and oversee both preventive and corrective maintenance for M&E equipment.
• Supervise and manage vendors, contractors, and in-house technicians to monitor work progress and coordinate with client representatives on technical issues.
• Lead a team of supervisors and technicians to ensure maximum uptime of M&E systems and their equipment.
• Ensure all tasks are performed safely and adhere to safety procedures.
• Handle any additional ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Perform any other assigned duties as needed.

Job Requirements

• EMA certified Licensed Electrical Worker Grade 8 (Technician)
• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in conducting electrical installation checks to ensure compliance to Code of Practice and Singapore Standard as a LEW
• Immediate availability will be advantageous.
