Job summary

ST Engineering requires a B1.1 trained Licensed Aircraft Engineer to support base maintenance operations. The role involves inspecting aircraft, performing functional tests and certifying releases to service for maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with maintenance data and procedures, coordinating manpower and parts, and maintaining a safe work environment. Opportunities exist to convert to CAAS licence for eligible licence holders.

Qualifications

  • B1.1 licence holder is required for the role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

  • Supervise and manage staff under assigned responsibility.

Job description

We are looking for B1.1 trained Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAEs) to support our base maintenance operations. The role will involve aircraft inspection and functional test, andcertification.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform routine aircraft maintenance activities and rectify aircraft defects on a day-to-day basis
  • Sure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with approved maintenance data, company procedures, regulatory authority requirements, and customer standardsPerform aircraft release to service certification (CRS) for maintenance and repair of aircraft according to the Company authorisation issued by Quality Department
  • Assist in forecasting manpower, spare parts, tooling, and equipment requirements to support maintenance operations
  • Adhere to safety regulations and promote a safe working environment at all times
  • Support investigations into incidents and accidents, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented
  • Ensure proper maintenance, accountability, and serviceability of tools and equipment
  • Supervise, manage, and maintain discipline of staff under assigned responsibility
  • Perform any other job related duties, as and when required
