Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace Services Company PTE. LTD. is seeking an inventory coordinator to ensure timely availability of items for production and maintain precise stock records.

The role involves coordinating with production teams, processing returns, and managing stock takes. The ideal candidate will have an O Level/Nitec or equivalent, be proficient in Excel and Word, and have familiarity with SAP. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential for handling

Qualifications

  • Completion of O Level/Nitec or equivalent qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor demand and issuance of inventory items to ensure materials are available for production.
  • Process and manage production demands, coordinating with production team.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory and stock management system.
  • Convert stock from SBUs, raise CV, arrange transportation and manage adhoc transport forms.
  • Handle processing and monitoring of parts returned from production with proper recording.

Job Description & Requirements

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor demand and issuance of inventory items with precision to ensure materials are available for production without delays.
  • Process and manage all production demands efficiently, coordinating closely with the production team to meet their requirements.
  • Monitoring accurate record of inventory and stock management system.
  • Conversion of stock from SBUs. Including raising CV, arranging for transportation and managing transport adhoc form.
  • Handle the processing and monitoring of parts returned from production, ensuring proper recording and timely updates in the system.
  • Prepare and execute stock take plan include processing physical inventory documents and preparing stock take report.
  • Prepare inventory status, issuance, returns, MOQ, stock take and shelf-life reports and other ad hoc requests.
  • Update Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) settings as requested by the Material Planning team.
Requirements and Skills:
  • Completion of "O" Level/ Nitec or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, to manage data and reporting tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with SAP system is preferred.
  • Possess good interpersonal skill and a positive attitude to handle challenging customers and resolve tense situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills coupled with a positive, solution-oriented mindset, capable of handling challenging customer interactions professionally and resolving tense situations calmly.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with a strong sense of urgency, maintaining accuracy and quality in a fast-paced environment. Willingness and flexibility to support operational requirements.
