Job summary

ST Engineering requires a B1.1 trained Licensed Aircraft Engineer to support base maintenance operations. The role involves inspecting aircraft, performing functional tests and certifying releases to service for maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with maintenance data and procedures, coordinating manpower and parts, and maintaining a safe work environment. Opportunities exist to convert to CAAS licence for eligible licence holders.

Qualifications

• B1.1 licence holder is required for the role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Candidates with licences without type rating are welcome to apply.
• Permanent and Fixed Term Contract roles are available.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine aircraft maintenance activities and rectify defects on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Certify release to service (CRS) for maintenance and repair according to authorisation.
• Assist in forecasting manpower, spare parts, tooling and equipment needs.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Support investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure proper maintenance and accountability of tools and equipment.
• Supervise and manage staff under assigned responsibility.
