Cognitive Development Learning Centre Pte Ltd in Singapore is looking for a Learning Support Teacher. This role requires someone who can seamlessly integrate into a multidisciplinary team, helping children with learning difficulties and providing high-quality education.
The successful candidate will support lesson delivery, maintain a safe learning environment, and contribute to documentation and assessment processes. A passion for working with children is essential, and prior experience is not required.
We are seeking a Learning Support Teacher who can integrate seamlessly into our multidisciplinary team and make an immediate instructional impact. Reporting to the Learning Intervention Teacher (LIT), the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in teaching children with learning difficulties, addressing both behavioural and academic needs, and delivering high-quality education aligned with the organisation’s philosophy, standards, and guidelines.
1. Programme Delivery & Implementation
Support LIT to deliver educational programmes in accordance with the organisation’s philosophy, curriculum framework, and established guidelines.
2. Professional Practice & Standards
Assist in executing all teaching and related duties professionally and in compliance with organisational policies and ethical standards.
3. Feedback, Communication & Collaboration
Provide timely and constructive feedback to LIT regarding student reinforcement progress, challenges, and learning outcomes.
Collaborate with LIT and colleagues to improve instructional practices and operational processes.
4. Teaching Materials & Lesson Documentation
Assist LIT to develop teaching materials tailored to each student’s individual goals and learning needs.
Assist in documenting lesson plans, teaching strategies, and student outcomes after each session.
5. Maintaining Learning Environment
Create secure environment for children to encourage play, exploration, interaction and learning.
Select appropriate materials and resources needed to create quality learning environment.
Design purposeful learning environment for children to engage and motivate them.

Maintain accurate, organised, and up-to-date documentation of all student-related records, assessments, and reports.
8. Research & Professional Development
Contribute to research initiatives and continuous improvement of teaching methodologies and intervention strategies.
Stay informed of evidence-based practices in special education.
