About the role
This role involves collaborating with Educational Therapists, Counsellors, and Cluster Principals to identify student learning and behavioural needs, and co-develop appropriate intervention and support plans. You will plan, conceptualise, and implement holistic frameworks and strategies to strengthen student management, mentoring approaches, and pastoral support across centres.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with Educational Therapists, Counsellors, and Cluster Principals to identify student learning and behavioural needs, and co-develop appropriate intervention and support plans
- Plan, conceptualise, and implement holistic frameworks and strategies to strengthen student management, mentoring approaches, and pastoral support across centres
- Provide guidance, training, and ongoing coaching to tutors on managing diverse learning needs, supporting student development, and applying effective classroom and behavioural strategies
- Conduct observations, assessments, and case consultations to monitor student progress, identify support needs, and recommend appropriate intervention strategies, referrals, or adjustments to learning support
- Develop, adapt, and recommend learning resources, instructional strategies, and accommodations to support students with diverse learning needs
- Engage parents, caregivers, schools, and relevant stakeholders where appropriate to support students' learning and developmental outcomes
About you
- Minimum Diploma in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Counselling, or a related Social Science discipline
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with learning or behavioural needs, in school, community, or non-profit settings
- Experience conducting student observations, case consultations, training, or intervention planning for children and youths with diverse learning, developmental, or behavioural needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of learning support strategies, behavioural management approaches, and inclusive education practices
- Willingness to occasionally work outside of regular office hours, including evenings, to support student interventions, consultations with stakeholders, meetings with parents or schools, and centre-based programmes
