You will work on a variety of learning projects across different industries and subject areas, collaborating with subject matter experts, clients, project managers, multimedia designers and developers to bring learning experiences from concept to completion.
We are looking for someone who can think from the learner’s perspective, make sense of content, structure it well and find creative ways to help people learn.
A Diploma or Degree in Instructional Design, Learning Sciences, Education, Educational Technology, Communications or a related discipline would be useful, but we are also open to candidates from other backgrounds who can demonstrate strong learning design capabilities.
Experience with any of the following would be an advantage:
You do not need experience with all of the above to apply.
We are more interested in your ability to understand learners, structure content intelligently and design an effective learning experience than whether you already know a particular piece of software.
You will have the opportunity to work on different types of learning projects for a variety of clients and subject areas, giving you exposure to much more than one type of course or content.
Our projects can involve e-learning, scenario-based learning, interactive experiences, video, animation, multimedia and emerging technologies.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of learning designers, project managers, multimedia specialists and developers, and see your ideas progress from initial concept to a finished learning experience.
For someone who is curious, creative and passionate about helping people learn, there is plenty of opportunity to learn, grow and build a strong portfolio of work with us.
Interested?
We would be happy to hear from both experienced learning designers and promising candidates with strong learning design potential.
If you have samples of storyboards, learning materials, e-learning, curriculum design, training content or other relevant work, feel free to include them with your application.
A portfolio is welcome, but not mandatory.
