Job summary

beyonics international pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a Senior Tooling Engineer – Continuous Improvement to lead tooling-related CI initiatives and provide technical leadership across NPI, Manufacturing, Quality, Toolroom, Engineering and Operations teams.

The role focuses on tooling performance, mould reliability, maintenance excellence, cost reduction and operational efficiency through cross-functional collaboration and mentoring of engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree, Diploma or recognised apprenticeship in Toolmaking, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of tooling experience within injection moulding or precision manufacturing.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is essential.
• Demonstrated experience leading continuous improvement programmes.
• Strong knowledge of mould design, tooling maintenance and reliability engineering.
• Experience supporting medical, electronics or high-volume manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling-related continuous improvement projects across the organisation.
• Develop and execute annual tooling and reliability improvement plans.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Tooling Engineers and technical teams.
• Develop tooling standards, best practices and engineering procedures.
• Support strategic tooling decisions and technology roadmaps.
• Improve preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Reduce repeat tooling failures and mould-related downtime.
• Provide supervision, coaching and mentoring to assigned personnel.
• Manage workload prioritisation and resource allocation.
