Job summary
STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to sustain equipment reliability, drive cost-saving projects, and provide tool-specific technical support to AME and line staff. You will translate engineering needs into preventive maintenance tasks and collaborate across production and central support groups.
The role emphasizes enhancing throughput, quality yield, and safe operation within a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Electronics & Electrical; Master in related field preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment using schematics.
- Experience with STM32 or Raspberry Pi in FDC context is a plus.
- Capable of collaborating with production, IE, and central support teams.
- Minimum 2–3 years in current role.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and sustain equipment reliability and quality yield.
- Lead maintenance cost-saving projects and tool commissioning.
- Provide technical support on tools to AME and Line Support.
- Translate engineering needs into preventive maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering to solve problems.
- Support equipment installation/relocation and OEE improvement.
