Job summary

C-Pak Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a tooling design engineer to support global NPI on product design and development, prepare drawing proposals, and conduct tooling buy-off and setup.

You will liaise with customers on design requirements and alignment, coordinate with the factory on capability compliance, and monitor tooling expenses and cost control. Overseas travel may be required; a Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Precision Engineering and SolidWorks proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Min. Diploma in Mechanical/ Manufacturing/ Precision Engineering.
• Proficient in Solidworks.
• Preferably with working knowledge and experience in taping machine, laser mark, jig & fixtures design.
• Positive attitude and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Support global NPI (New Product Introduction) on product design and development.
• Prepare drawing proposal and tooling design.
• Conduct tooling buy-off and hands-on tooling setup.
• Initiate and conduct the improvement project evaluation.
• Liaise with customer on design requirement and alignment.
• Liaise with factory on capability compliance.
• Responsible on tooling expenses and cost control.
• Overseas travelling may be required.
