Job summary

Kerry Consulting is seeking a Lead Engineer for a Singapore-based robotics team focused on Multi-Robot Systems and swarm intelligence. The role combines robotics, distributed systems, and AI to develop autonomous platforms capable of collaborative decision-making in dynamic environments.

You will lead software architecture, implement ROS2-based solutions, and work across simulation and real hardware. The ideal candidate has advanced degrees and hands-on experience with decentralized coordination

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Experience designing or developing multi-robot, multi-agent, or swarm systems.
Knowledge of distributed and decentralized robotic architectures.
Strong programming in C++ and/or Python with robotics/real-time work.

Responsibilities

Lead the development of multi-robot and swarm autonomy capabilities.
Architect software for decentralized decision-making in coordinated robots.
Develop ROS2-based robotics applications and sensor integration.
Evaluate data fusion, SLAM, planning, and control for distributed robots.
Prototype concepts in simulation (Isaac Sim, Gazebo, Webots) and validate on hardware.
Translate customer requirements into technical architectures.
Provide senior input on MRS, swarm robotics, and Physical AI.
Drive R&D initiatives exploring new collaborative robotic applications.
