This senior role drives an end‑to‑end R&D program spanning LiDAR, electronics, embedded software, optics and hardware, translating customer needs into viable products. You will lead with a hands‑on, strategic approach, set priorities, manage milestones, and collaborate with product, business development, and customers to align technical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above; 8+ years of R&D experience; 2+ years of leadership experience.
• Multidisciplinary product development across LiDAR, electronics, embedded software, optics, camera systems, power electronics, and mechanical/structural engineering.
• Experience in automotive, robotics, autonomous systems, or complex technology products is relevant.
• Ability to manage structured R&D programs, while remaining hands-on and technically credible for customer discussions.
• Experience with international project delivery is advantageous.
• Strong business and technical English communication; ability to coordinate across engineering, commercial and customer stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the R&D function end to end, with accountability for team development and project plans.
• Set R&D priorities, monitor milestones, and ensure delivery within quality and timelines.
• Align customer requirements with technical solutions and development roadmaps.
• Join client discussions with the commercial team to guide product iterations.
• Develop the R&D organization as the business scales, including performance management and talent development.
