Job summary

Rainbow Centre in Singapore is seeking a dedicated educator to lead a facilitating team focused on quality care and optimal student engagement and learning. You will evaluate programme effectiveness, assess student needs, and develop activities to support holistic development.

You will guide teams, foster collaboration with parents and external partners, and implement innovative practices to enhance care, engagement and learning outcomes for students with diverse needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum “N” Level/3 “O” Level/partial ”A” Level/fresh NITEC with pass in English; relevant degree/diploma will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead Facilitating Team in Quality Care and Optimal Student Engagement & Learning
• Evaluate and monitor effectiveness of programme & activity delivery
• Lead and guide the team in assessing the care and learning needs of the students and develop programme activities
• Maintain and model high level of student engagement through planning, facilitating and evaluating care and learning experiences
• Apply appropriate practices and actively implement differentiated needs of students
• Adopt proactive activity and group management style, promote positive behaviour and manage challenging behaviours
• Organise the environment to meet impairments and facilitate daily interactions to maximise learning
• Facilitate Collaboration & Provide Leadership for Student Engagement & Organisational Effectiveness
• Proactively plan and collaborate with teams, partners, parents and caregivers for care plans and strategies
• Guide and lead team to ensure student integration of skills and learning
• Participate or lead organisational activities to achieve Rainbow Centre’s goals
• Develop Self, Innovate for Greater Impact
• Engage in self-reflective practice and supervision for improved professional practice
• Plan, support and provide feedback toward professional development of team members
• Lead and participate in initiatives to improve processes for care, engagement, learning and development
