Job summary

Rainbow Centre in Singapore seeks an experienced educator to evaluate student needs and craft individualized learning objectives. You will design instructional plans and learning environments, applying differentiated practices in both independent and team-teaching settings.

The role emphasizes proactive classroom management, creating safe relationships, and fostering motivation. You will monitor student progress and collaborate with parents and caregivers within a transdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in related field (Psychology, Social Work, Human Services) and have completed SDESN.
• At least 3 years experience in an early intervention setting with proven ability to lead a teaching team in a transdisciplinary setting.
• Able to manage physical demands of the role (lifting, carrying students/equipment, cleaning and maintaining facilities).
• Only Singaporeans and Permanent Residents are eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess student needs to develop individualised learning objectives and outcomes.
• Design and create instructional plans, learning materials, and environments.
• Facilitate development of students with engaging, differentiated practices, independently and in team teaching.
• Proactively manage students and environment to enhance motivation and learning.
• Provide safe relationships and environments for learning and care.
• Monitor, assess, and report on student progress and attainment.
